I usually write out my thoughts and do not vocalize them, so I tried something different and recorded my first ever podcast! A difference I noticed in this new form of communication is that my hesitations stand out when I am speaking but when I am writing, I can hide behind the confidence of being able to edit what I say before I publish it for everyone to see. It was more difficult to speak in sentences that were well thought out because I felt very much like I was having to think on my feet when having to record, even though I had a rough outline written out of what I wanted to say and how I wanted to say it.
